Terms & Conditions

Check In Policy:

Check In: Reception is open from 8am – 10pm daily. We welcome you to check-in any time after 2pm. If you need to check-in earlier, please phone us on the day of arrival to check if your room is ready. If you require an afterhours check in, please be sure to notify reception in advance so arrangements can be made.

The Hotel may require a pre-authorisation of $100 per stay on check in, via Credit Card. This can take 5-10 working days to release after check-out

Check In - Photo Identification & Payment : All guests are required to present valid photo ID (Government issued ID, Drivers Licence or passport) and a valid credit card during check in. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old. If the credit card holders name does not match the name on the reservation, a Credit Card Authorisation Form will need to be completed by the card holder.

Accepted payment methods include: EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard, AMEX & Diners Club. We do not accept cash, cheque, direct deposit or any “afterpay” methods.

Upon checking in to the hotel, you agree:

- I agree to pay the full cost of my accommodation, including any extras or incidentals I incur, for my stay. In the event that the indicated person, company or associate fails to pay for any part or the full amount of incurred charges, I will be held responsible for any unpaid balance.

- I agree that damage to property and unruly behaviour can incur charges associated with loss of business to the hotel.

- I agree that I will not smoke in any part of the building, including the room I am staying in. If I do smoke in my room or anywhere in the building, I understand that I will be charged a minimum $250 sanitisation fee, and any additional charges that are applied if a fire alarm is triggered.

Check In- Early : Early check in’s are subject to availability and usually cannot be confirmed until the date required. If your room is available to check into before 2pm on your arrival date, there is no early check in fee. To guarantee an early check in, an additional night of accommodation can be purchased.

Check In - Afterhours: As we are only staffed from 8am - 10pm daily, we have an afterhours check in option available to any guests who cannot arrive during staffed hours. Please contact hotel reception via phone (07) 3193 4107 or email info.tower@madisonhotels.com.au to arrange an afterhours check in. Note that all afterhours check in’s are subject to approval, and must provide valid photo ID (Government issued ID, Drivers Licence or passport) and credit card.

Check Out: Check-out time is 11am. Any extra or incidental charges incurred during your stay must be paid prior to check out.

Check Out - Express: For guests departing before 7am, we kindly request you leave your key in the room, or drop it in the express check out box located at the reception area. Before returning your key, we encourage you to thoroughly check your room for all personal belongings. Phone chargers, pillows, shoes and bathroom products are most commonly left behind by guests, so be sure to double check for these before you go!

Check Out- Late : Late check out’s are subject to availability and usually cannot be confirmed until the date required. Fee’s and charges apply.


Emergency afterhours assistance: If you are locked out of your room between 10pm – 8am due to a lost or faulty room key, contact information for afterhours assistance is advertised on the front entry doors, in the foyer and elevators. Note: security attendances are charged at $95.00.

In the event of a genuine emergency, please always call “000”.

Extra Guests: An extra adult (12 years and over) is $25.00 per night. An extra child (aged between 2-11 years) is $15.00 per night. Infants (up to 2 years) and under stay free in existing bedding. Maximum capacity per room restrictions apply. Rates & GST: All room rates are quoted in Australian currency and include 10% goods & services tax (GST).

Eviction & Unwelcome Guests: Guests or visitors may be evicted without notice. Guests who are evicted from the hotel will be blacklisted and we may choose to notify the police. Additional fees & charges may apply if an eviction occurs. The below behaviour & actions will result in immediate eviction:

- Intoxication and unruly behaviour

- Physical or verbal assault towards hotel representatives, residents or other guests

- Wilful damage to hotel property

- Any incident for which the police need to be called onto the premises

- Any behaviour posing a safety threat to others

- Ignoring instruction, by hotel representatives, to reduce excessive noise

- Throwing of objects from balconies or windows

- Smoking inside the building

We maintain the reserve the right to refuse a guest entry to the hotel for any valid reason.

Housekeeping Service: If you are staying for more than 1 night and require in room supplies or a full room service, please see reception with your request. Additional items such as hair dryers, bath towels, tea and coffee are available at reception.

Lost Property: Lost property is defined as a non-perishable item that has been found in the room of a guest who has checked out. All perishable items such as food/drinks are to be disposed of immediately, this includes: cigarettes, alcohol, drinks, food, etc. Unsanitary items such as adult and feminine products are to be disposed of immediately. Lost property is held for a maximum period of 30 days.

Luggage Storage: If you are checking out and need somewhere to store your belongings for a few hours, we are happy to offer complimentary luggage storage to all hotel guests. If you need to store your belongings and reception is closed when you leave, please pack up your belongings and place a note in your room for housekeeping staff to transfer your luggage down to reception for storage. Luggage collection is only available during staffed hours.

Luggage can be stored for a maximum of 24 hours unless a return stay is pre-booked within 7 days of check out. Holding fees apply to luggage not collected within 7 days. Luggage will be held for a maximum period of 30 days.

Minimum Stays: During periods of high demand or major events, we may apply a minimum length of stay. You will be advised of this at the time of your reservation. If reservation has been booked via a third party, additional policies may apply.

Reservation Guarantee: A valid credit card is required to guarantee your reservation. If you are unable to provide credit card details, we are unable to hold your booking. If the credit card holders name does not match the name on the reservation, a credit card authorisation form will need to be completed by the card holder. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old.

Smoking: Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the hotel. Smoking in a room will incur a sanitation charge of $250.00. Additional charges will apply if a smoke alarm is triggered. This policy is consistent with Australian smoke free laws (Smoke-free Environment Act 2000 & Smoke-free Environment Regulation 2016).

Staffed Hours: Our ground floor reception desk is only staffed from 8am - 10pm daily. If you require any assistance, please be sure to visit our friendly team during these hours.

Tax Invoice: Departing guests can collect a physical tax invoice during check out. If you are leaving before 8am, please ask our friendly reception staff to arrange for a copy of your invoice to be sent via email.

Visitors: Only approved visitors are permitted at Madison Tower Mill. If you are expecting a visitor, please notify reception staff, and ask your visitor to report to the reception desk with their valid photo ID upon arrival to the hotel. Madison Tower Mill has the right to refuse entry or ban any person from our premises.

RMS Terms

  1. Cancellation penalties depend on Accommodation Provider policies. An administration charge (defined on the booking form) applies to all booking changes and cancellations.

  2. RMSOnline sells Accommodation Provider accommodation from an inventory supplied by each Accommodation Provider, and does not over-sell that inventory. RMSOnline does not accept any liability for unavailability of rooms caused by the Accommodation Provider over-selling there own room inventory.

  3. The customer will be required to provide a credit card at check-in to cover incidental charges and may be required to provide photo ID.

  4. RMSOnline makes its best efforts to ensure that the information available on its web site is accurate. However, RMSOnline cannot and does not guarantee that the site is free from errors or faults.

  5. RMSOnline does not accept liability for any errors or omissions and reserves the right to change information published on the site at any time.

  6. RMSOnline does not accept liability for any indirect or consequential loss arising out of the use of or connected with its web site or for any products or services purchased from its web site.

  7. RMSOnline makes no warranty or representation about the fitness or suitability of any product or service advertised on its web site.

  8. RMSOnline offers are not commissionable to registered travel agents.

  9. RMSOnline receives a payment from the Accommodation Provider for the provision of the RMSOnline booking service.

  10. You must be at least 18 years of age to book Accommodation on RMSOnline.

  11. These terms do not affect consumers' statutory rights.

  12. Customer acknowledges that a third party ('card authoriser') will process the credit card transactions required in respect of a booking. Customer agrees that RMSOnline is not liable for default by the card authoriser.

  13. Customer acknowledges that payment for the cost of accommodation will be held by RMSOnline on behalf of the Accommodation Provider and remitted to the property on terms agreed between RMSOnline and Accommodation Provider.

  14. Customer agrees to pay to RMSOnline by debit to customers credit card account the specific booking fee & cost of the accommodation. All fees are GST inclusive. RMSOnline will issue customer with a valid tax invoice in respect of this booking service.

  15. Bookings made through RMSOnline by the customer are made on behalf of the Accommodation Provider. Customer agrees that Accommodation Provider has sole responsibility for delivery of the services being booked by the customer and that RMSOnline is not liable for default by the Accommodation Provider.

  16. Whilst every effort is made to ensure your requested room type is available, we cannot guarantee the actual bedding configuration of the room. These requests are forwarded to the Accommodation Provider and are subject to availability on day of check-in. All additional requests (smoking room, etc) are also subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed by RMSOnline.
